So many of us have been affected by the negative impacts of the Covid-Woman on bridge19 pandemic. In these unprecedented times, more and more of us are struggling in ways we may not have previously thought imaginable. Unemployment is high and food insecurity is growing. We are stressed by the unknown, and possibly dealing with the illness or death of a loved one. This is the time to lean on each other for help. As a community mental health center, we are here to provide assistance in learning how to deal with these difficult circumstances.

If you or a loved-one is experiencing any of the following:

  • Feelings of isolation, fear, confusion, anxiety, or stress,
  • Grief related to COVID-19 including the loss of a loved one,
  • The loss of income, housing, food, security, health insurance, and/or personal safety.

The Hope and Healing program can provide vital connections to community resources for you or your family. We offer virtual assistance:

  • Individual, family and group emotional support,
  • Community education on disaster reactions and recovery,
  • Coping skills for managing stress,
  • Psychoeducation support groups,
  • Information & community referrals.

All Somerslaptopet County residents and area employees are eligible, regardless of income, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or belief system.

If you are a first responder in healthcare or emergency services, we can explore the struggles you may be facing and help you to overcome doubt. If you are a veteran, teacher, caretaker, or frontline worker, we can address your specific needs and help you with current challenges and stressors. College students, LGBTQ+ folks, elderly, disabled, and anyone in an at-risk group is welcome.

We will bring this program to your organization!
