The Assessment Center serves as the single point of entry for individuals seeking services at the Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center.
The process begins by contacting the Assessment Center and completing an initial inquiry with an Intake Triage Specialist.
The initial inquiry allows the Intake Triage Specialist to obtain relevant information to assist us in understanding your needs and the best way to help. This process greatly reduces the wait time when you arrive by having all of your information available and on hand for easy access.
Once the initial inquiry is complete, you can choose to come whatever day is convenient for you, Monday - Thursday at 9 a.m. You are asked to be prompt and to register with the receptionist at our front desk.
Our assessment center staff will meet with you and introduce you to our billing staff to complete any necessary paperwork. Once complete the billing staff will take you to meet with one of our clinicians who will complete your initial evaluation on that day.
During the initial evaluation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns with the clinician and together you will discuss the appropriate level of service that best meets your needs.
Within two days of your evaluation your clinician will meet with the Center’s Disposition Team, a multidisciplinary group of professionals who may make additional recommendations as well as assign your permanent therapist.
