Due to the increase in COVID-19 reported cases in the

State of New Jersey, all inmate visits will be cancelled beginning

Friday November 13, 2020 until further notice.

Please check back periodically for any updates 


  • You must have the names of all parties attending the visit at the time of scheduling. 
  • Those not on the list at the time of the visit will not be allowed entrance into the facility. 
  • No more than (2) two underage children will be allowed to enter with a parent or legal guardian. 
  • Once time slots are filled for the that day, all other requests will be denied. 
  • Future dates will not be filled any earlier than (3) days prior to the scheduled date of visitation.

 ***Bandannas, or makeshift masks will not be permitted***

Booth visits shall be no less than 15 minutes in length.  Limitation on length or frequency shall be imposed only to avoid overcrowded conditions in visit area.

Visitors must be 18 years of age or older.  Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, unless approved by the Warden’s Administrative Staff.  

  1. All underage (17 years and under) children, MUST have documentation of birth showing a direct parental relationship with the accompanying adult.   ALL visitors that bring a minor into the facility MUST have proof that they are the parent of that child OR have proof of legal guardianship of that child.  Documents that will be accepted are as follows: 
  • The Minors CERTIFIED U.S. Birth Certificate, this must be original with a raised seal (No Copies Permitted). 
  • Minor’s Certified Original Foreign Birth Certificate, if this is in another language a translated original Certified Translated Birth Certificate must accompany the Original. 
  • A Minor’s Report of Birth Abroad (Form FS-240) can serve as proof of citizenship but must have the parents’ names on it to be used as proof of parental relationship. 
  • Adoption Decree (Signed by a Judge) will establish a relationship between the parent and child and may be used as proof. 
  • A Court Order Establishing Custody, this is a written order that determines who will provide care for a child and is signed by a judge.  This order MUST indicate Legal Custody in order for the child to be permitted in the jail with the other parent.  If the Order states physical custody, the parent will be denied the visit.  If both parents have Legal Custody then both parents must be present to allow them entry into the visit area. 
  • A Court Order establishing Guardianship that is signed by a judge or court commissioner, this order establishes specifically who has the right and duty to care for and act the role of a parent.

Visitors are required to produce proper identification upon admission to the jail.  Examples of acceptable forms of identification are as follows:  Any form of valid government identification such as a Driver’s License with photo, valid passport, County or NJDMV photo identification card, original U.S. Department of State Birth Certificate.  At least one form of identification MUST INCLUDE A PHOTOGRAPH.  Subjects who cannot produce proper identification shall not be granted visitation.

All visitors will register in the visitor’s logbook and are subject to search.

Unruly or disorderly visitors shall be removed immediately from the jail and if it warrants, their name shall be listed as not being allowed in the jail.

Any inmate that is released from jail/prison will have to wait one year before he/she is able to visit an inmate in the jail, unless the Warden has granted prior approval.  Any inmate that is on parole or probation is not permitted.

Male Inmate Personal Visit Schedule
(Must be incarcerated over 45 days to apply for approval)

  1. General Male Population Personal Visits
    • Inmate personal visits will be scheduled, regardless of last name, on the second and fourth weekends of the month, excluding Christmas weekend.  The Personal Visit Coordinator will return the completed visitation request to the inmate so that the inmate has a minimum of one week notice prior to the scheduled visit. 
  2. Protective Custody Male Population Personal Visits
    • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Female Inmate Personal Visiting Schedule
(Must be incarcerated over 45 days to apply for approval)

  1. Female General Population Visits
    • Sunday: 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  2. Protective Custody Female Population Personal Visits
    • Monday: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
  3. State Protective Custody Female Inmate
    • Monday: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
