To help inform members of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB) and provide data for decision making, GRWDB staff compiles custom data reports, commissions research reports, and reviews analysis of trends in employment, human resources management, workforce delivery efforts in general.

As a baseline, the GRWDB has made available Community Economic Profiles for each of the counties we serve. The Hunterdon County, NJ Economic Profile and the Somerset County Economic Profile details employment, population, income, education, and other demographic and socio-economic data for each county.

To better understand the needs of employers, the GRWDB has published  In-demand Occupations Reports for each county. The Hunterdon County, NJ In-demand Occupations report and the Somerset County, NJ In-demand Occupations report inventories occupations by openings and reviews the skills, certifications, and credentials necessary for employment.

The GRWDB recognizes that economic, business, technological,  and generational trends impact the nature of employment. From time to time staff identifies thought provoking articles and research papers that help inform workforce investment discussions.  Some recent articles include:
