County-Operated Senior Centers Offer Virtual Programs
Senior Centers Are Closed Until July 31
Somerset County-operated senior centers are operating under a “new normal” by providing activities and programs for anyone age 60 and above via Zoom. Clients can now participate in many of their favorite activities and classes in the comfort of their own home, even though the senior centers are closed for onsite activities until July 31.
Somerset County’s management team will assess when the centers will be reopening as per state-mandated healthcare guidelines at the end of July.
Meals on Wheels will continue to deliver hot and/or frozen meals, five days a week and according to each client’s meal-delivery schedule.
