Winners of History Traveler Contest Announced
SOMERVILLE – Freeholder Brian G. Gallagher has announced the winners of the History Traveler Contest, a drawing that was held for visitors who attended Somerset County’s 14th annual Weekend Journey through the Past event.
“Congratulations to the winners of the History Traveler Contest drawing,” said Freeholder Gallagher. “And special thanks to Somerset County Tourism for coordinating the prize donations.”
Visitors who went to three or more historic sites during the Weekend Journey event were eligible to enter the drawing. Entrants had the chance to win one of four prizes that included: A gift certificate to the Center for Contemporary Art, courtesy of the Center for Contemporary Art; four free admission passes to the USGA Museum and a copy of the book, “Great Moments of the U.S. Open,” courtesy of the USGA Golf Museum; two tickets to the Feb. 16 Five Generals Tour, provided by Heritage Trail; and one of three complete sets of Weekend Journey through the Past trading cards.
The six lucky winners are Nina Wedmid of Bound Brook; Bernard Rosario, Dyan Rosario, and Howard Schwartz of Branchburg; Linda Bolton of Green Brook; and Victor Viscomi of Hillsborough.
