December 18, 2018 - NEWS RELEASE

Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Detectives John W. Fodor, and Green Brook Chief of Police Samuel Caramela announced the arrest of Taidhun Weh, age 60 of Green Brook, NJ.

Prosecutor Robertson stated that on December 14, 2018, at approximately 12:30 PM, Weh was arrested as a result of an approximately one-month long, joint investigation conducted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force and the Green Brook Police Department.

The investigation began after law enforcement received several complaints from concerned citizens in reference to a suspected brothel being operated out of the massage parlor, My Favorite Massage, located on Route 22, Green Brook, New Jersey.

During the course of this investigation, a Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office undercover detective entered the business, My Favorite Massage, where he was met by Weh.  During this meeting the undercover detective was propositioned by Weh for a sexual act, in exchange for U.S. currency.

At this time, Task Force members, along with members of the Green Brook Police Department entered the business and placed Weh under arrest.  Weh was charged with engaging in prostitution, a disorderly persons offense out of Green Brook Municipal Court. Weh was later processed and released on her own recognizance, pending an appearance in Municipal Court.
