Freeholder Board Plans to Expand Use of Video in 2019
Freeholder Deputy Director Brian D. Levine announced that Somerset County will expand its use of social media and video by livestreaming freeholder meetings starting in the spring of 2019.
“Somerset County has been on social media for years. More recently, we have been producing videos to promote a variety of county services, events like the Cultural & Heritage Commission’s Weekend Journey and programs like Leadership Somerset,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Levine.
“Because of the popularity of video and the fact that more and more residents of all ages are getting news and information online, Somerset County will continue to develop videos about county programs, services and amenities. And, in an effort to become even more transparent, we will begin livestreaming Freeholder Board meetings, starting in the spring of 2019.”
