Top Rankings in Multiple Areas for Somerset County
Somerset County residents know their county is No. 1 – now potentially millions of others will too.
Freeholder Director Patrick Scaglione has announced that Niche.com and SmartAsset.com have released 2018 rankings that place Somerset County at or near the top in a variety of areas.
“Somerset County consistently shines in quality-of-life amenities and financial stability,” he said. “We’re very proud to have been recognized once again by these two websites.”
Niche.com names Somerset County No. 1 in New Jersey among Best Counties to Live In, Healthiest Counties, Best Counties for Families and Best Counties for Outdoor Activities. Somerset County is ranked third in the state among Best Counties for Millennials and Counties with the Best Public Schools and 11th among the state's Most Diverse Counties. Nationally, Somerset County is in Niche.com's Top 50 for Best Counties for Families (29) and Best Counties to Live In (44).
Somerset County is No. 21 in the SmartAsset.com 2018 ranking of the Happiest Counties in America. SmartAsset.com also ranks Somerset County third in New Jersey for financial health.
