How to Choose a Hearing Aid
Free Workshop on Sept. 16
MANVILLE – Have you been putting off purchasing a hear aid because you don’t know how to go about it? Freeholder Brian D. Levine, human services liaison, invites residents to attend a free workshop about hearing aids that will be presented by representatives from Montclair State University’s Audiology Center at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.
The “How to Choose A Hearing Aid” workshop will be held as part of the 2017 Somerset County DisABILITY Services Fair at the Thomas J. Kavanaugh VFW Hall, 600 Washington Ave., Manville, NJ 08835.
Participants will learn about: sources for audiological testing, questions to ask before any product is recommended, why there is such a variance in the cost of hearing aids, recent legislation that could affect the way hearing aids are purchased and possible sources of funding.
Pre-registration for this workshop is not required, but space is limited. To reserve a seat or to get more information, contact Disability Services Coordinator Paulann Pierson at (908) 704-6334 or email@example.com.
