Courthouse Picnic
 You’re invited to an old-fashioned “Picnic on the Green” from 12 to 4 p.m. Friday, July 3, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Somerset County Historic Courthouse. Bring a picnic lunch and lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy free music and entertainment. Admission and parking are free. Full Story Independence Day Festival  The Somerset County Park Commission will host its annual Independence Day festival on Saturday, July 4, at North Branch Park in Bridgewater. Event Flier Saturday Recycling Drop-off  Residents are invited to drop off items at the Recycling Center in Bridgewater from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 11. Food donations also will be accepted to benefit local food banks.
