The Somerset County Office of Volunteer Services recruits people of all ages who would like to volunteer their time and talents to assist various county departments and/or programs, and will assist anyone interested in volunteering in general.

Oversees the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), Handyman Project, the Money Management Program, Tax Filing Assistance Program, Fall Clean-Up Program, County Phone Alert Program and Operation Freedom, a Free Legal Services Program for active duty military personnel and their families. The office also recruits volunteers for the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).
