MISSION STATEMENT

The Somerset County Board of Elections endeavors to ensure the integrity and accuracy of every election by administering fair and appropriate voting procedures which are in full compliance with federal and state election laws and regulations. The Board is strongly committed to timely registering every eligible voter as well as maintaining an accurate voter registration database for Somerset County. It is also a major priority of the Board to ensure that elections are held in sites that accommodate all voters, including those with mobility impairments. The Board also ensures that all voting machines are properly secured, equipped, maintained, and fully operational on Election Day.
